AMBER Alert: Newark, Ohio Toddler Abducted

What Happened?

On Tuesday, January 17, 2023, a 2-year-old boy named Bryson was abducted from his home in Newark, Ohio. The suspect, 24-year-old Nalah Jackson, is Bryson's non-custodial mother.

According to police, Jackson broke into the home through an unlocked door and took Bryson while his father was asleep. The father woke up to find Bryson missing and called the police.

AMBER Alert Issued

An AMBER Alert was issued for Bryson shortly after he was reported missing. The alert describes Bryson as a white male with blonde hair and blue eyes. He is approximately 2 feet tall and weighs 30 pounds.

Jackson is described as a black female with brown hair and brown eyes. She is approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds.

Suspect Vehicle

The suspect vehicle is a 2010 silver Chevrolet Malibu with Ohio license plate number JXN5708. The vehicle was last seen heading southbound on I-71.

Investigation Ongoing

Police are actively investigating the abduction and are following up on all leads. They are asking for the public's help in locating Bryson and Jackson.
