Novak Djokovic is through to the quarterfinals of the Roland Garros after a thrilling five-set victory over Francisco Cerundolo. The Serbian star was a set away from a shock defeat before rallying to win 6-4, 2-6, 6-1, 6-7, 6-4 on Sunday.
Djokovic, who is seeking a record-extending 23rd Grand Slam title, will now face Rafael Nadal in the quarterfinals. The two rivals have met 59 times in their careers, with Djokovic holding a narrow 30-29 advantage.
